Awhile ago, Lindsay over at Passionate Homemaking suggested listing other food preparations along with your menu. I’m going to give it a try this week and see if it helps me to stay on track.

Monday

Prep – make Bread & Applesauce Muffins ; put pork in fridge to thaw ; restart kefir

  • Breakfast – Peanut Butter Coffee Cake
  • Lunch – leftover Spaghetti w/ meat sauce
  • Supper -Chicken Corn Soup & Homemade Bread

Tuesday

Prep- Make snickerdoodles ; thaw beef in fridge ; make pancake mix ; slice and marinate beef

  • Breakfast – Cereal & Muffins
  • Lunch – Noodles w/ chicken & brocolli
  • Supper – Pork Roast, Steamed Potatoes & Green Beans

Wednesday

Prep – make Mac & Cheese to bake for supper ; make rolls for sandwiches ; make banana bread

  • Breakfast – Pancakes & Applesauce
  • Lunch – leftover mac & cheese
  • Supper – Sliced Beef Sandwiches, Mac&Cheese & mixed veggies

Thursday

Prep – make Sugar Cookie dough, chocolate covered cherries cookie dough & start sour dough starter

  • Breakfast – Oatmeal & Muffins
  • Lunch – PB & J sandwiches, pickle slices & bananas
  • Supper – Lentil Tacos w/ lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa & sour cream

Friday

Prep – make Bread (easy day!)

Saturday

Prep – thaw beef in fridge ; slice veggies for tomorrows stew

  • Breakfast – Eggs, Bacon & fried Potatoes
  • Lunch – leftovers
  • Supper – Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes & Buttered Corn w/Biscuits

Sunday

  • Breakfast – Cereal or Oatmeal w/ fruit
  • lunch at a friends house
  • Supper – crockpot Beef Stew & Homemade Bread
